I know someone from Indiana and if I'm not mistaken, last night was a storm? They were suffering from a storm and had power outages. I'm in Pennsylvania and only got the rain that mostly goes away after an hour. I keep thinking it's just my general area, southeast, it's so weird.

Yeah, it was pretty bad for me last night although there weren't any major power outages. The lights just flickered and the power went out for about 2 seconds

Here in the states of Oregon and Washington (I live on the border, and go back and forth) it rains 3 out of 4 seasons here. But being as it's summer right now, we haven't had fuck-all for rain.

While I would have agreed to that in the 90s this last decade or so it seems to be a myth/historical stereotype of sorts. Certainly when it rains you know about it. Or is this one of those open secrets that we don't utter lest the Californians realise they are in an expensive desert with awful traffic?
