So, I've had this case for about a month right? Airflow is good, very good, has two fans in the front, and one in the back (as well as the fan for the PSU, CPU), so there's a lot of airflow. But, the top fan in the front of the case is vibrating, a lot, granted, I find this to be unacceptable in a new case. I expect this to happen over a couple of years, but a month? I really hope that the bearings are starting to go out, or that the fan is otherwise starting to go out after a month.

The product in question is linked here:
https://amazon.com/gp/product/B013AY4V4S/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I really like this case, it's better than my last one by far, but the fact one of the fans is doing this is driving me nuts. When I listen to music, play games, I can't hear it, but when I don't, I can hear the low hum, especially when I get closer to it, I know it's there. The question is, am I totally boned? Did I get a bad computer case? The reviews were good, the case again, has good airflow. Should I just ignore the hum with headphones and assume that as long as the airflow is good, nothing is wrong? I don't know what to do and I really don't want to have to buy another case, fan, sure. It looks like two 120 mm fans in the front, but I don't know how easily replaceable they are, I've heard nightmares on Amazon on replacing fans for this case. Please advise. Thank you.

Shit happens really, mass produced case, mass produced fans. Occasionally get a duff one.

Coolermaster will probably send you another fan under warranty if it's gone bad. Not sure why amazon reviews claim it's hard to replace fans, looking at the manual the front grill just pops off and the fans are completely accessible like on most cases.

What manual? Can you link me to that? Yeah, I mean, it still flows just fine, like, I don't see any wobbling, so functionality wise, it "works". And I don't know if Cooler Master will send a replacement fan. Other than this, it's a good case, and I don't I have to take both sides off, then the front panel? *Sigh* I can write a review and tell them a fan is bad, but I don't have high hopes of them replacing the front top fan.

I'm thinking of getting this
https://smile.amazon.com/Corsair-AF...&sr=8-2&keywords=Corsair+Air+Series+AF140+LED

Corsair Air Series AF140 LED on Amazon, because it ain't gonna get any better if I don't. I thought the warranty was only 30 days or something, I don't know how long it is.

Stupid thing won't link directly to the manual for me.

It's here

http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower/mastercase-5/

At the top download, mastercase 5 manual.

Just left a 3 star review on Amazon, waiting for it to be processed, and ultimately called Cooler master out. Not rudely, but more in a "I expected the fans to be better quality" kinda way.
And looking at that manual, I'm glad this is modular, and easy to remove the front panel, my last one was a nightmare. What I can do is still order the two 140 mm fans, as they're dirt cheap
(28 bucks for both, plus free shipping). Should I still order them, or wait for Cooler Master to reply? I don't have faith for the second option, to be honest. Damn, this is annoying.

You don't get in touch with a company by leaving a review. Contact them directly. Also don't buy the Corsair fans. Buy this one instead.
Noctua NF-P14s Redux. It's a good fan from a highly reputable cooling solution company. It's also quieter. You don't lose much airflow either. 67.8 cfm on the Corsair one and 64.9 cfm on the Noctua. Of course, it's your choice. I'm personally using the NF-P14s redux and NF-S12a (link) as a bottom mount fan for my case. Having said that, however, I give 0 fucks about "RGB ALL THE DAMN THINGS!!!11!!!11!one" so if that's a thing for you, get the Corsair's. They should be fine.

As for your question, it's up to you really. If they even see your review, the only things you'll get as a response are "We're sorry you've had a bad experience" and/or "Contact us about a replacement fan." Personally, I would just buy the fans and be done with it and hope you don't get the same experience I did where some 5 cent chinese knockoff comes in the packaging for the product you actually ordered. It's been an annoying couple weeks for me regarding online orders.

I guess I can cancel the order, I mean, they can't be as bad as the CM/OEM fans, right? Noctua, I don't have any experience with really, so I can't say for sure how they are. I don't care about RGBs, I just want a fan that doesn't suck ass, as long as they beat the OEMs, I'm not particularly picky, at least both those companies are reputable.

One possibility is changing the RPM of the fans themselves, but I don't know where I'd control that, or if it's wise to adjust it to a higher RPM.

Edit: Also the case states the front fans only have a depth of 25 mm, may be an issue as some fans are 27 mm.
