Homebrew (Question) Checking if my link four swords is legit or not

So i found my first 3ds (had FW 3.0~) ,a ll i had used it for in the past was a flashcart carrier, (had FW 3.0~) on it but also had link 4 swords right there on the menu! All i had used it for in the past was a flashcart carrier. Knowing this is one of the fated 4 i decided to get the old thing updated and hacked with b9s. So i did that and now its all happy and updated with link 4 swords still on it and installed.

So my end goal here was that i wanted a backup/ds i could use to hack any and all ds's with my copy of link 4 swords. My question is how do i determine of this copy of link 4 swords i had on this was legit or not. I dont remember if i did or could have installed it the non legit way.

Run the attached firmlaunch_clean.firm then try to boot 4swords. It's legit if it boots, not legit otherwise.

You probably need to be on a higher firm than 3.0 for this to work.

I updated my o3ds (the one that has 4 swords) to 11.4 i believe, so i should be good to run the _clean.firm . Do i execute the _clean.firm with homebrew browser or the bootmanager from luma?

Whatever you do DON'T try hacking any DS, a 2DS/3DS on the other hand will be fine.

I don't drink, however it's too much hassle. Much easier just to use a flashcart.

Flashme is not a flashcard replacement... that's like saying there's no point in eating vegetables because it's easier to get water from the tap, rather it's something that complements flashcards
