Gaming Anyone Want to Learn How to do the Cute Charm Glitch?

I was trying to do this for a while and I finally found a way to do it... it does involve an Action Replay but the results are instant and rewarding for anyone who wants to give it a try! (This only works on Gen 4 Games by the way!)

Because even though you're using an Action Replay, it's not technically hacking because you can do this without an Action Replay it just speeds the process along... not to mention, that if you use an Action Replay to make every encounter shiny, they are considered hacked and you can't transfer them through Pokémon bank to current games.

but if you gonna cheat, you can just use a save editor and byapss the "hack" check in pokemon bank easily...

I actually tried that before I used the Action Replay... it's a lot harder than it looks. If you want to try it, be my guest. But it's gonna take you probably days of continuous work to get the ID you want.

Its ONE, and only ONE frame perfect trick. It took me 30 mins to do. RNG in gen 4 is a joke.

Yea... I guess you could. However, with this, you don't need to keep the action replay in your system. It's like a 1 and done kind of deal... I'm just saying that if you wanted to know how to do the Cute Charm Glitch, this is how... and also, if you do the Cute Charm Glitch, you get specific natures that you want rather than just random natured shiny Pokémon which could be good for competitive battling. (Also another reason that legit shiniest would be better... could get banned from competitive matches)

Good for you. You must be really lucky if you did it the way he did... I tried for about 2 hours and still couldn't get it... the guide on smogon is a bit confusing...

probably because doing it on emulators is really easy... but on a real console matching that one frame...

Yea... I was doing it on my ds... maybe that's why. Although, on emulators, you can't trade to other games which sucks.

It was on actual hardware. Not bad if you use the correct tools. Has to be done on a DS Phat or DS Lite though.

You know there are ways to back up and restore save files? Pretty neat right? TWLSavetool is what your looking for.

EDIT: Also if you try to RNG, you can easily check what your SID is.
