Homebrew 5.5.2 Wii U Update Going Crazy! MUST READ! BROWSERHAX DEAD AND MORE!

Most of you must have known of the new 5.5.2 update.

I'm going to explain what it patches and why you should never update to 5.5.2 until a new exploit is discovered.

What It Patches
-BrowserHax

I'm going to count the Homebrew Channel as being 'patched' due to it is no longer accessible unless you have Haxchi (Keep in mind that it is not ACTUALLY patched)

What still works
-CHBC
-Kernel Stuff
-IOSU Stuff
-Haxchi

You should never update to 5.5.2 cause you will lose everything that gets patched. Yep, it is pretty bad.

Use DNS protection to prevent future updates.

This all I have to say!

Edit: Don't worry guys! If 5.5.1 was vulnerable to a browser exploit then 5.5.2 should be easier to find an exploit now.

Thank you. I have edited my thread. Anyways I do count Homebrew Launcher as patched because you can no longer access it just like CFW unless you have Haxchi.

Yes, completely if you have 5.5.2. If you blocked future updates like me and have 5.5.1 it should still work.

The Homebrew Launcher is technically not patched because it's still possible with a different entry point like haxchi.

Still, there are 0 reasons to update. As usual, Nintendo adds no features whatsoever, just crap like patching an exploit. <_<

1. No, there is no actual way since you can't even access the Homebrew Channel without Browserhax.
2. Yes, if a new update is made and was made to patch that exploit then you can't reverse that.

Quick Tip: 5.5.1 still has BrowserHax I'm talking about 5.5.2
