This mourning I opened up my email and was surprised to see this....

Wow. I gotta be honest it looks cool. Based on how it looks I want it. The email mentions being able to play old game as well as new games on the box so virtual console confirmed. Pong anyone? We see two styles. The red one looks pretty cool. I don't know how I feel about the wood however. It might look nice in some homes but would look a liitle out of place in mine. And that's really all we know.

(And I reported this first so don't let the reporters steal my thunder XD)

AtGames, they've made a lot of licensed (bad) MegaDrive consoles with preloaded games.

Classic NES and SNES are emulator boxes as well. However, the "Classic Atari" offers far more than Nintendo's ones.

As you can guess, those ports suggest modern internal specs. It also means that while we will be delivering classic gaming content, we will also be delivering current gaming content.

Most are thinking this is just like the mini nes / snes - sega est.

The hence of mention "Games Old and New" most possible remake's of older Atari games, maybe some new titles 2.. well "Maybe"

I hate to be pessimistic but its way to late in the battle for another company to break the gaming triangle's big 3. I think that mostly everyone had pledge allegiance to their company of choice, unless for those who aren't loyal or who love to collect/ archive fund this new console i don't see it getting very far.
