Homebrew Need help, Soundhax not working for me

Did you get the boot.3dsx from the guide or was it one you had on your computer already? In your gif it shows 2.8 beta but I think the latest version is 2.9 alpha. Try using the one from here: https://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/

Nope. I'm puzzled on this one, I don't get why it's doing it. I've taken all of the files off, formatted the card and tried again but still nothing - it's just strange how it crashes but with no error?

I have an error that is a bit different I want to share. I have a New Nintendo 3DS XL Red and I just updated to 11.5.0-38U and I wanted to get homebrew on my 3ds. I got the main files you need the starter kit files, soundhax, and the otherbin. I renamed all of them and it all looked fine untill I tried to load the <3 nedwill 2016 sound file. When I clicked it the first thing it said was "Could Not Play". It had the red cancel type sign and I don't know what the problem is. If someone could help me fix the problem, I would greatly appreciate it.

SoundHax is patched on 11.4 and 11.5. Have a look at https://3ds.guide/homebrew-launcher-(alternatives) for something that will work for you. If it says it works on 11.4 it will work on 11.5 also.

Hey, im having an issue setting this all up. Every time I go to launch the soundhax file from sounds it says the file could not play. ive been trying for the past half hour and have finally resorted to checking the forums for help.

What firmware are you on? SoundHax is patched on 11.4 and above.

I have followed many youtube walkthroughs but no luck, I just downloaded the homebrew starter kit, soundhax etc, I can get to homebrew but when I go to launch anything, like ctr-httpwn v1.2 or menuhax_manager v3.2 nothing seems to work. I just wanted to by pass the annoying update messages when connecting to the internet so I can use QR codes.

Just follow 3ds.guide , never YouTube tutorials.

Don't follow anything on YouTube at all, it will be outdated, incorrect, possibly dangerous

What page were you on and did you follow everything before it?
