Since the switch has been out for a few months now, I wonder, are they gonna stop making Nintendo-made games for the 3DS because I would love to see more things Nintendo can do for 3ds, I just bought a New Nintendo 3Ds (small sized). Maybe make a remastered Mario game such as super Mario 64 3ds or sunshine if it’s possible.

The 3DS is far from dead. Nintendo will be continuing it THROUGH 2018, meaning we still have at least a year and a half left of it's life. Don't expect a Super Mario Sunshine remake for the 3DS, though. For the Switch? Sounds very possible.

Zelda? Probably not, it already got lots of them.
Mario? Well, it got Mario Maker not that long ago. I'd say maybe, but at least not for a while, especially with Super Mario Odyssey coming out.
But it's certainly not dead. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are coming, they're releasing Gen 2 on VC, Ever Oasis just came out, and Miitopia is coming soon. There's also a fair amount of 3rd party games confirmed for 2017/2018.

The DS had an 8 year lifespan so I very much believe Nintendo when they say will support in through 2018.

What's interesting to see is what will eventually replace 3ds:
-Switch (unlikely - they've said its a home console and it's too big and expensive for a portable).
-Mobile (good possibility but Nintendo hates the thought of being 3rd party in any way)
-New portable console (difficult market, but if Nintendo stays clever it will work - it could also use the switch's guts which lines up with their 'unified platform' strategy they talked about before)

A DS as powerful as a switch or pc, we can only wish

I predict the 3DS effectively dies not long after Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

I mentioned in other threads that what Nintendo is doing with those games mirrors what they did with the release of Black 2 and White 2 for the DS after the release of the 3DS. The release of the N2DSXL also mirrors what they've done with the DSi and Wii near the ends of their lifespans. They're tying up loose ends before putting their eggs in the Switch basket.

They only released one new/good Zelda game for 3ds.
Ocarina/Majora are n64 ports and the other Zelda game is a four swords with less content basically.
They should release another new Zelda game for the 3ds.

Hyrule Warriors Legends is not a Zelda game, Not by name, Not by content, and not by gameplay.
It is a reskinned Dynasty Warriors, nothing more.

Doubt it, but who knows. Maybe we'll see a Link's Awakening remake before the 3DS dies.

I don't want a dual screen with stylus console.
I want a one screen device like the PSVITA but as powerfull as switch :P
I got the perfect solution for you! Get the Switch! :P Small enough to have it as a portable. Powerful enough to enjoymore serious gaming. BAOOM!

the switch does not have as many games as a 3ds it may be an older system but because of that it has more games and homebrew will be continued to be made for it the switch won't be hacked in a while

Voted yes.

After playing a while with the Switch, going back to 3DS to play FE: Echoes definitely felt like I was time travelling.
It will get some support, but I think the thing is definitely full in its twilight phase where only the occasional interesting thing happens to it.
