Hacking I got an old 3Ds firmware 11.2.0-35E

Hello guys. I recently got a 3Ds in my hands (again) . It is the old model (the first 3ds released), red color. I would like to ask you if it is possible to run hombrew on the console without any flash card. Can I run custom firmware on it and play the backups of my games ??

No since you'll be installing B9S and that sticks with you no matter what unless you uninstall it. You'll automatically boot into CFW.

Edit: I mean the home brew launcher runs smoothly. But what after that ???

That's actually up to you to decide. Save managers like JKSM is a must as you can backup your saves in case your 3DS derps out. Freeshop is another one too if you want to download games to your 3DS directly.

Follow the 3ds.guide link that was given to you earlier. There are links at the bottom of the page to continue on to the next page of the guide. If you just finished the Homebrew Launcher page, you aren't done yet.

Well. O got a big problem. Once I launch GODMODE9, in the home --> more menu I don't see a "backup nand" choice. I only see "sad format menu" "bonus drive setup" and "build support files" . Why is that. I am stuck at that step and waiting for someone to confirm so I won't mess with anything .

What step of the guide are you on? As long as you follow the guide exactly, and all the way to the end, then you shouldn't have any problems. If you do have a problem, you likely did something wrong.

I am in section VII in step 4. I did everything exactly as the guide says. Everything worked flawlessly until now. There's just no "backup nana" when I press home and select more .

Edit : I did the previous step again in case I missed something but no help .

The guide hasn't been updated to coincide with the new version of GodMode9 that was released two hours ago, which moves the NAND backup function. You might want to use the older version if you want to stick with the guide: https://github.com/d0k3/GodMode9/releases/tag/v1.2.1

Turn off the 3ds and then try that again.If its still not there you should get decrypt9 instead
