PandaOnSmack/Joffnerd posted the Trainer update for 1.3.0 for you guys
Great! There will be many happy people now and you can chill Abit. Which you deserve, good job with the gecko codes. Thank you!

For those who can't find it on their own here's the link (also on first page)

https://github.com/joffnerd/botw-trainer/releases

Have fun everyone! And leave your respects to the devs, they deserve it. Was a big demand for this.

Do I have to do all that if I already have Haxchi CFW installed? I have haxchi channel and HBL channel on my Wii U...

no ,

juts do what the tutorial said, first downlaod the laguage packer, than download the dlc from wii u usb helper, than do the steps :

6 - In App Store Download Tik2SD + FTPiiU_Everywhere + WUP Installer GX2 + Mocha CFW + Homebrew Launcher
7 - Launch Homebrew Launcher and go to Mocha_CFW (use default options). Then go to WUP Installer GX2 and choose install the DLC of Zelda BOTW you just download wherever is your game (nand or USB).
8 - Back to Homebrew Launcher, go to Tik2SD and backup your tickets. Put your SD in PC and look at tik2sd folder. Open keys.txt and search where your Zelda BOTW DLC is installed. The name you need to search is 0005000c101c9400 or 0005000c101c9500 or 0005000c101c9300.
9 - Now it's time for hex editing. <<< use the link from www.marcrobledo.com/wiiu-tik-fixer/
open the folder and in tik2sd wich the ticket from you game is , than drop on the site above, you gonna see 2 tickets, click in fix, and dowload the file , than do the rest :
10 - Now put your SD back in WiiU. Open Homebrew Launcher and launch FTPiiU_everywhere (make sure you had launch Mocha CFW or other CFW before that)
11 - Go to your Zelda BOTW ticket location inside WiiU memory using a FTP browser like FileZilla or even Windows Explorer with the IP of your WiiU. Its in "storage_slc/rights/ticket/apps/xxxx/xxx.tik". Replace that ticket with the one you just modified.
12 - Open your Zelda BOTW game and enjoy play with all contents without CFW!

1) Make sure your running BOTW with the latest Update.
2) Make sure your running the latest TCPGecko.elf.
3) Make sure your running the latest BOTW Trainer.

When every game update, some homebrew may become unstable or not work at all with some games. This is because with a new update, the addresses and pointers move around to new addresses, therefore breaking some homebrew apps and software.

So in the case with BOTW, you must make sure your running the latest of everything, such as TCPGecko, BOTW Trainer, and the BOTW Update.

Anybody else having Problems playing Trail of the Sword. I got as far as Floor 5 and the whole Wii Froze up and screen went black in Gamepad while trainer is Active. Durability for weapons in the TOS don't work either. I have Sword , Bow and Shield Durability on but it's not working weapons break seconds after you hit the enemy.

Sometimes to get the durability to work, you have to unequip, then re-equip your weapon. I had to do that in the trial for the durability to activate.

Ahh yes. I forgot to mention that a while ago. Durability only seems to apply to weapons that have been equipped from your inventory. The same goes with the Infinite Elemental Weapon Charge. Since they run off of the same pointer structure, weapons must also be unequiped and re-equipped. Nothing I can do about it.

To fix crashing that happens on someone else's Wii U is pretty hard to fix. I can't do anything unless I know what code causes it. And even then it'll be very hard to fix. Since I can't do any testing on somebody else's Wii :P

This is sort of for everybody, but don't be afraid to tell me if you're experiencing issues with any codes. However, if it only happens once in a blue moon, or you haven't figured out which code is causing it, I can't help ya. Even telling me "I only had these three codes on when it crashed!" is pretty much useless to me.

Please nobody take offense to this, but the rule of thumb is that if you don't put any effort in to trying to fix it, I cant put any effort in to fixing it either.

Hi, skoolzout1,

I would like to explain my situation briefly. I'm playing Master Mode on a PAL Wii U and, in general, your new codes for version 1.3.0 work flawlessly, thank you sooo much. Except for one.

It is the Infinite Health code. It usually protects your hearts (they do not change during attacks from enemies) but, in some cases, all hearts are gone in one blow (I have six hearts at the moment) when Link is hit by a bomb arrow from far away or by a Lionel blow. Have you noticed that? Is there a way to fix the code to become 100% immune to any attacks whatsoever? I have tried the latest trainer as well, and of course, it happens there too (because it uses your infinite health code).

I suppose this is not happening for NTSC systems. Am I the only one that is having this issue on a PAL Wii U?

Hello everyone and thanks for the great work you do.
I have some troubles with Cosmo's Codehandler. I downloaded the codehandler.bin file and placed it in the TCPGecko folder with the other 3 files. After loading HAXCHI and the HBL on my WiiU i start TCPGeko, but there is only one option: "Press A to install TCP Gecko (with build-in code handler)"
I tried to download the codehandler.bin various times and replace it in the SD card, but nothing seems to work. May someone help?
Thank you!

that's all you need? press a to installed it, run the game, what till you are in game, connect with Jgecko U or trainer, and your good to go...

i have the exact same version you have, which is latest and have no problems with Jgecko U or the trainer...

It's sort of an unfortunate side effect. The code works by constantly refilling your health. So normal hits appear to no damage. But in reality your health goes down but refills instantly. So if a move is strong enough to kill you in one hit, the code can't refill your health.

The way to get around it is really only to use Instant Mipha's grace reset.

I know In the trials that's not a solution. The other solution is to use my defence modifier code. Which must be used through Jgecko since it's not in the trainer.

However even with that, falling from too high will still kill you.
Using Mipha's grace whenever possible is best

Wow! I understand how the code works now. Thanks for the explanation. Well, I hope to get Daruk's protection soon (again) and I think I will be able to manage thanks to your Daruk's reset code. Not in the Trials, of course (or in Eventide Island).

By the way, how can I use the defence modifier? Any values to change in the code or special keys to use?

I made it give you a high amount of defence by default so there is nothing to do to use it. If I remember correctly you can take a hit from a guardian without any armour and it does like maybe 1 heart of damage? I forget. But even a lynel only does a quarter heart with no armour if I remember correctly.

That sounds very interesting. I need to try it then. Thanks again!

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
