I picked up two of the Castlevania games for the 3DS. That's all neato-spiffy, but the problem is, they've got that annoying dark filter common in Nintendo's Virtual Console games, and the graphics look slightly compressed too. Now I know you can adjust settings in the Ultimate VC Injector, but is there a way to do the same thing with purchased games? I might want to share snapshots of the games in Miiverse, but they're an eyesore with Nintendo's accursed dark filter and scrunched graphics. Please let me know.

Certainly if you extract the RomFS and edit the config file yourself.
You can then rebuild it into a CIA or just use Luma's LayeredFS (or HANS for that matter although I am not sure if that still works) to patch the game on the fly.
