I noticed it on Chrome. Since removing Flash and using a different browser, it seems to have stopped. Youtube videos still work though, but I have to use my phone for Twitch now.

Hmm. Maybe a little bonus from Google on Chrome browsers? Haven't noticed it on Firefox, I just switched to Chrome like 2 days ago.

So I went over and tested and noticed that does the same to me

Or just stop using Chrome. Your resources will thank you.
I have 32GB of RAM, so Chrome is the LEAST of my worries. (Un-used RAM is wasted RAM, afterall) Photoshop gobbles that shit down like it will never be on sale ever again. And Chrome's RAM usage has been reduced significantly in a recent build.

I usually only check new videos to the channels I'm subscribed to so clickbait videos or not, it's not a concern I'd bother with.

Doesn't work for me, though I have flash off and tons of anti script things on.

I just noticed this, when I hovered over a video and it twitched. Then kept my mouse on it and it played a short part of the video. Anyone noticed this?
I haven't noticed any difference, but I actually already had a feature very similar to this since I use Youtube Center. Though that only shows a slideshow of a few still frames of the video, it's still very useful.

Latest Chrome here, and no previews for me either.
This I suppose would be useful for those assholes that pretend to upload a full episode of a show, just to plug you to a bullshit site full of spam and ads so they can cash in and infect your PC.

Porn did it first

But yeah it can be somewhat useful on youtube too, though if it has a clickbait title I simply wont give it another view.
It's useful when i'm looking for specific clips from things though and don't have to click into every damn video.

I only just recently noticed it doing that, though.
