I'm not in a position to try it myself but some of the video's I've seen the frame rate seems low but that could be just that guys PC. I just want to know do most games work well and do the games look better then they did on the PSP and can the res be upscaled ? I'm hoping that it's close to as good as PCSX2. Also how are the requirements are they about the same as PCSX2 ? I also wanted to use controller too.

Any try MGS: Peace Walker by chance ?

Pretty godlike, except still can't even run Outrun 2006 at 60 FPS (The original PSP couldn't even do it) :P
Besides one bug in the Hitman reborn games, is pretty solid, probably better than PS3 injected PSP games, and I been using it on my android tv. On pc is even better but my android runs it just as good as pc does .

yes PPSSPP runs smoothly on almost everything, as long as it has enough RAM, my current phone has 2gbs RAM and can run Final Fantasy Type-0 ( a action and graphic heavy action-rpg ) at acceptable rates. aside from that, it can smoothly run every Rpg the psp can throw it's way. not gonna try shooters because of the L and R button placement on my phone.

You could try gradius collection or parodius portable, is basically a 2 button shooter. You could also try after burner.

But still i wouldn't play without a controller. I play on my android tv, works well. tegra x1 is godlike. Just wish some bugs was fixed.

Just came here to say that PPSSPP is going amazingly and the developers are simply genious. The best emulator I have tried, even better than Dolphin to me. Why? It runs fullspeed in my laptop, here is the thing, I have:
Intel Ivy Bridge Celeron Dual core at 1.1ghz
Nvidia 710m

Using Directx11 it runs fullspeed, the funny thing is I downloaded it just for shits and giggles, and the thing is working fullspeed!! Still I am quite amazed at this low end CPU, is fast for how shitty is supposed to be.

I have tried most games even Type-0 and is 60fps locked.

I am thinking that this emu uses the GPU more than others, because it is the only explanation of why it works so well on my PC.

Last I tried it, some games still have issues running on it but it can run most games at full speed with little to no graphical issues

Good PC = good framerate. And, as I know, it's a good emulator. You're welcome.
I played PPSSPP on an Windows XP with a Pentium 4, 6800gt and 2 GB DDR ram and and it had little frame drops on some of the games I played (Phantasy Star 2), everything else ran fine.
