I've heard alot about fake cards and timebomb cards, whats a good one that isnt timebombed and has good compatibility? the ability to play pokemon games/ ace attorney games is what im mainly looking for, any help would be appreciated.
The r4i gold card is a regularly recommended card, and one I have personal experience with. Works flawlessly, no timebomb, cheat function and real-time save.

This one looks great, does it have any kind of compatibility list or is it 100% good with all games?
It should work with every ds game. Won't play dsi games, but no card can (well no card that is easy to obtain and not extremely expensive)
Will it still be able to play pokemon games? Mainly Heart Gold, Mystery Dungeon and Black.
Both of them run an Acekard based kernel, but it's lot like comparing Luma3DS to Corbenik
Wood R4 tends to keep the same options, but making them a lot more simple. Plus adding other features like RTS.
akAIO has all the same options, but handled in a more advanced manor (also no RTS.) It's also a nicer loader for homebrew kernels like Moonshell/Menudo, as it was made to be a loader.
I've always preferred akAIO's approach compared to Wood R4. Although Wood R4 is still recommended more often.

I own the card. It doesn't. It is one of the only reasonably priced cards that does do DSi though.
Also, the AceKard 2i is the only confirmed working card for NTRboothax. The ability to hack any 3DS with this card and a magnet sounds really appealing.
The AK2i doesn't do DSi. Anyway, the R4ids.cn is very likely to be compatible with ntrboothax (After the AK2i and DStwo)
What's everyone going on about "DSi" support? Are you all referring to RocketLauncher?
First it's only for the DSi, so that's not very useful for the 3DS. Second, it still seems to be running DS-Mode on the DSi. It appears to simply bypass directly into the Acekard2i and autoboot the cart instead. It does not appear to be running in DSi-Mode. I could be wrong though, but that's just appears to be the case.

I'm fairly certain everyone stating ak2i does dsi-enhanced games is wrong. And it certainly won't do dsi only games. And unless op really needs ntrboothax, the better card at this point is the r4i gold because it's compatible with the newest firmware without cfw and has additional features that ak2i does not have like rts.

I thought r4isdhc (r4i-sdhc 3ds rts) was the one without it, I even bought that one because it was the recommended one a few months ago...
