Bayonetta 1 and 2 is being teased for the Nintendo Switch

ddx1wixumaa0_8f.jpg

It appears that Platinum's new Japanese twitter account has tweeted the above images in the famous neon Joycon colors of neon red and blue. Could it be a potential tease for the fan favorite Bayonetta series to release on the Nintendo Switch? With the Bayonetta creator recently announcing that he does indeed have plans for Bayonetta 3 it would make perfect sense for Platinum games to re-release the first two games on the switch so the fans can enjoy the whole trilogy!

Yeah, I picked mine up for less than £20, still sealed.
...but if anyone's selling the Bayonetta 1+2 double pack, they're likely to get more for it than the Switch one will cost - it's becoming quite collectible.
The Double Pack? Only thing that differs that from the normal releases is the outer box, that's it.

You can get Bayonetta 1 from Grainger Games for £10 though they tend to drop it to £7 at times. Bayonetta 2 isn't worth much these days either.

Depends on the edition. Ebay price for the European double pack is +£30, but the 'first print' edition is upwards of £75.

hmm you might be right, but I see no point in keeping it in the collection, unless I wanna do comparisons.
I only have the single Bayonetta 2 for WiiU :/

Well, the Double Pack and First Print Edition are completely different.

The image could indicate Bayonetta 3 is on the way. 1 + 2 = 3.

But if Platinum Games and Nintendo want to take the lazy path then they'll just release B1&2 instead.

Because that would push back Bayonetta 3. There are always drawbacks when companies are making remasters/deluxe versions over new games of X series.

It's likely minimal work they have to, a port shouldn't be the same as a full development since they have all the files already

If they want to have it run smoothly they'll probably need to spend a considerable amount of time so it's not just a 'minimal work' sort of thing. It's good to see remasters/deluxe versions of old games but no one can deny the effect it has on new games.

*cough cough ps3 bayo*
I didn't say they should take minimal time I just said it won't take as long as a full game, besides, they would be thinking about the mass market porting it(perticularly bayo 2) to switch since unfortunately the wii u is a bit of a minority with how porely it sold, I still wish the wii u had sold better so 3rd partys would be more willing out the gate on switch
