Bayonetta 1 and 2 is being teased for the Nintendo Switch

It appears that Platinum's new Japanese twitter account has tweeted the above images in the famous neon Joycon colors of neon red and blue. Could it be a potential tease for the fan favorite Bayonetta series to release on the Nintendo Switch? With the Bayonetta creator recently announcing that he does indeed have plans for Bayonetta 3 it would make perfect sense for Platinum games to re-release the first two games on the switch so the fans can enjoy the whole trilogy!

switch will problaly be the console with most remarsters problaly get more remasters than new games. but when people keep buying them even if they already own the game, its no suprise as they will make alot more money than making new games

Well, I didn't buy Bayonetta 2 on Wii U, so I'm cool with this. I wish they would put 1 & 2 on the same cartridge, but I'm not gonna hold my breath for that one.

Were you not playing the wii u game? It was two in one. Good deal for $60. Didn't even have to buy a ps3 port.
Dafuq you talking about? Some editions came with the original game and the sequel, but it was more commonly sold seperately. I bought the single Bayonetta 2 release, as I'd already got the 360 version of the original game and completed it multiple times. I'm still yet to finish Bayonetta 2 - been sidetracked by too many other titles.

I don't own a Switch, but this is good news if it leads to a Bayonetta 3.
Hell, anything new by Platinum is just as welcome as anything new from Grasshopper Manufacture and Vanillaware.

Don't buy it.

In normal circumstances, ports are rather ho-hum, however this has three mitigating factors:
1) The Wii U was not a widely owned console, so many people missed out on its games the first go around.
2) Bayonetta 1 was only available in limited quantities for the Wii U
3) The Switch is not merely the next Nintendo home console, but brings the added utility of being portable. Bayonetta was not available on-the-go in its original form.
Even in defence of these Deluxe ports you can't deny that these games will get in the way of developing new ones so that's a drawback that exists. It seems like people are more interested playing a game that already exists than an actual new one. Sigh.

But for how much?... last time I checked Bayonetta 2 for Wii U was still available to buy new unopened in Mediamarkt for 12€.
Yeah, I picked mine up for less than £20, still sealed.
...but if anyone's selling the Bayonetta 1+2 double pack, they're likely to get more for it than the Switch one will cost - it's becoming quite collectible.
