Hacking [NEED HELP] How to set up a DSTT flashcard on 3DS

I just got my DSTT flashcard today, and I'm really new to this flashcard business. I put a thing called "TTMenu" on my SD Card that goes into the DSTT. It's the old one, from 2010, since YSMenu didn't seem to work (same error as below). When I press "Add Games" in TWLoader, it launches the flashcard, and then a screen with a card and "? MENU" appears.
Help? I'll erase the SD Card, if that's needed. I would also like MoonShell.
EDIT: Oh, and I would prefer YSMenu, by the way. I just tested TTMenu.

NOTE: No, YSMenu doesn't work. I'm now trying to format my SD Card with the Panasonic SD Formatter 2.0.0.3. Will it work with 2.0.0.3?

if you get ?menu, you are missing file (for r4i-sdhc it is edited r4.dat) you are missing something similar need for dstt (try the same actualy ): http://gbatemp.net/attachments/r4-zip.88139/
You don't have to format it really (but you can)
EDIT: Same happened to me on r4 gold pro 2017. Also got ?menu until I put in root the r4.dat file
