I have Wii Flow 4.3 and I am using my SD card (fat32) to play Wii (wbfs) and GameCube games. Game cube games play, but Wii games will not. When I load the Wii games, wiiflow resets. Now that my 249, 250, 222, 223, and 224 have been reset, CFG loader and USB loader GX won't even boot up. Nintendont still works. Only because I still have 58.
I would like to get CFG loader working again. I would settle for wiiflow. I'm just tired of being sent in circles and going on a never ending search for the right apps that are the right version with the right cIOS. That's why I'm posting on here. Can anyone help, PLEASE!

OMG...... why don't people read the stickies BEFORE messing up.
Seeing you have installed hermes (222, 223 and 224) you used a WII hack package to install and not a VWII hack package.

read http://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-vwii-hacking-guide.425852/ and install the right CIOS. I think you are lucky that you haven't bricked your Vwii yet!
Thanks. I looked it over and I'll try it when I get off work.
I am almost positive that I tried to use d2x-v10-beta52-vwii and it did not work either. Should I try with a clean SD card? Or is there a way I should erase the cIOSs and start from the beginning? What would you recommend?

first rule: Don't mess with any cios below 200 (don't come even near cios58 or you will make things much worse)
Get the d2x-cios-mod installer and install cio249, 250 and 251. You should start with "d2x-v10-beta52-vWii" set, if that doesn't work try the "d2x-v10-beta53-alt-vWii". Do not mix!!!

Extra: Install the "IOS236 Installer MOD v8 Special vWii Edition"
and that is IT.... if it doesn't work then try an external harddisk

again: the http://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-vwii-hacking-guide.425852/ guide is top-notch

I know for a fact I tried ios236 v8 vwii edition, that didn't work. So the cIOSs need to be set up in order? Also, I have read that I shouldn't mix 53 and 52. I am just curious though, what happens if they are mixed? I'm not going to try so I can see, but I figured you might know.

Mixing cIOS's is known to cause some trouble to the vWii, it can even cause a softbrick. That's why people prefer to use one single cIOS, so everything is packed into one, instead of two different locations.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a softbrick?

Soft Brick = Getting decked in the temple and going in comatose. With some help and time, you'll recover.

Hard Brick = Blunt trauma with a baseball bat to the temple. You will end up in a vegetative state.

On another note: Save yourself a headache.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-vwii-hacking-guide.425852/ (As mentioned earlier). Install d2x-v10-beta52-vWii from the d2x cIOS installer. If CFG or USB loader still don't run, delete them along with their folders on your SD. Additionally, go to the Data management on the vWii, and delete any saved data for either if you see any. Put a fresh copy of the loader(s) on and you should be good.

I am trying to use the custom iOS installer and I keep getting an error message:
TMD version wrong 5661 !=5918

I have everything set correctly; cIOS249 V10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52-vwii base 56 rev21

I also double checked that I'm connected to the internet

I don't know where you read that but there's no way it could cause a softbrick. Different IOS slots are completely separate and don't interact with eachother at all, if you have v52 in one slot and v53 in another then the only thing that happens is you may have compatibility issues whenever you use v53 (it seems to have lower compatibility with USB HDDs as well as emuNAND), it's generally best to stick to v52 unless you need support for both rear ports.
Nothing wrong with having both installed though. You can for example have base 56 and 57 v52 on slot 249 and 250 like usual, and base 56 and 57 v53 on slot 239 and 240. As long as you have both sets, and you don't have one set of for example base 56 v52 and base 57 v53 as that would make no sense, some games need base 57 which means whenever you play one of those games you might run into compatibility problems.
