Hey there people!

I just received my R4 flashcard today, which i already set up and successfully booted up.
I can play DS games just fine but i can't help but wonder, if there's something i can do against the games (e.g. Pokemon White 2) to look a bit off.
The resolution looks somewhat natural, at least for the bottom screen. Top screen just looks like the color pallet is not right or the saturation.
Looks a bit washed out if you ask me. (Using New3DSXL)

I've read that starting games with select and start / select+start would helo with those issues, but it doesn't seem to change anything since i'm launching from the R4 flashcard. Is it just me or do the DS games actually look a bit washed out ? If anyone would like to spare me some of his knowledge, i would be very glad!
(Didn't find anything regarding this on the web)

Thanks and kind regards
Nick

when in the home menu of the 3DS, hold select and keep holding select then launch the flashcart and see if it helps

In 1:1 mode on a non-xl console, they should look more defined than a real DS/i...

There's no difference to your console between a flashcard (that does boot) and an original DS game

Still, my favorite way to enjoy DS/i games is indeed on its original hardware

Holding only select worked now. But the screen is abysmally small (Playing on the New3DSXL). So it just looks like this using my system?

yeah it makes so it will looks less washed out, I play on a o3Ds and it is also very small, so I just ignore the washed out stuff, it is only really noticable on text anyways
