...But I'm coming up empty-handed.

I have an anime convention in October, and need a way to keep people from just "running off" with my $70 Pro Controller. I'm looking for something similar to these:

Just something I can secure to a table, and let the public walk up and play some casual emulation. The website that sells these (pictured above) doesn't offer any for Nintendo controllers, and I can't find anything online. If anyone knows where I can get one, can you link me here please?

Thanks in advance!

Just to taunt you a bit you can have a glimpse at Nintendo's pre release efforts

Personally I would probably make my own (a locking bar and a U/G section of metal to given dimensions is not a hard task) and if you wanted to just keep honest people honest (no worrying about people wandering in with a set of decent sidecutters or a hacksaw blade) then watching

you could probably drill a hole in one of the back plastic sections and attach it there easily enough if you prefer to go that way.

I think you will have to damage your controller (drill into it).

Also, how are anime conventions and games even related?
Plenty of anime conventions have a room to go play games in with others, as well as gaming tournaments. Every single one I've gone to has, and i've been to ALOT of them.

Most anime conventions pretty much morphed into nerdy shit conventions a while back.

Likewise anime watchers that play games is a fairly bit segment of that population.

Yes, we have all kinds of cosplayers, and I'm going to be a playable Gameboy Color XL. kumoricon.org is the convention, if anyone in the Portland Oregon and southern Washington is interested in going.

I can guarantee you that anti-theft device exists for the Pro Controller as Nintendo had it at their UK Switch Premiere but actually finding it online for sale? If you can't find it sold by Chinese sellers on Aliexpress/eBay then all's left is to ask Nintendo.

They didn't use a piece of metal but rather a cable and something in the back. I never attempted to remove it while I was there, I was just more interested in feeling how comfortable it is. :P

I'm going to be wearing the Gameboy on the front of my torso.

I think the real question is... Why are you going to an anime convention?
Because it's fun, duh! And I get about 400 streetpasses each day.
