Hacking i screwed up my back up on 11.2, can i reset everything as if nothing had happen

so here is the story, so i wanted to install custom firmware to my old 3ds which is a special edition 3ds xl. so when i tried to install the custom firmware through Safe Hax on my 11.2.0 which is a US console of course. so i followed this persons sub par video and screwed me over. so lets get right to the details, so i created a sysnand back up of my 11.2. but when i messed up a part which happened a lot in the video i decided to restart the process, and doing that i accidentally overwrote my 11.2 sysnand back up with a 2.1. so when ever i tried to backup it will just stay on version 2.1. also i am new to doing all of this so i decided to try to update as the person who made the video told me to do. but it would not update and would just give me an error when trying to do so. as for now i just want to stay away from trying to install custom firmware. could anyone help me complacently remove all of the things i have tried to install and have my 3ds be at its original state as if it had not been touched. and also on its original software version. also can you give me detailed instructions, i am new to this.

You seem to be, you think he can just say fuck it and delete everything while being on 2.1? If he updates he'll brick on the spot with no chance to recover besides a hardmod.
He's gonna need to at least perform a 9.2.0 CTRTransfer and then safely update, thus he needs to follow the guide, jesus christ.

He needs to use the 3ds.guide regardless of what state his 3DS is in.
Depending on what he did to the console, we have no sufficient information for us to help him, he might've done more things to the console than he specified.
Every single detail counts no matter how small, either way like I said, he needs to perform a 9.2.0 CTRTransfer and then update his console to the latest firmware to keep everything legit.

You should be able to install a9lh then restore you 11.2 nand backup with out keeping a9lh if I'm not mistaken
