It really bugs me a lot when people do this. I get it if you're new to the English language or still learning it because English is dumb and it would seem to make sense that loose would be pronounced like lose.
But if you've known English all your life you have no excuse, it's just as bad as Typing Like This In My Opinion.
That's just a little pet peeve of mine but if you use loose instead of lose you are a looser.
Haha get it oh boy am I funny or what

Agreed, I always find it weird. I thought "oh, so there are two spellings for the same word like centre/center?" But that became quite clear when I became an English major and those two words are pronounced differently. oh well, it is just the norm on the internet.

Words are hard. I never realized that until you pointed it out. But they have completely different meanings.

Loose - "free or released from fastening or attachment"
Lose - "to come to be without (something in one's possession or care), through accident, theft, etc., so that there is little or no prospect of recovery"

Not knowing the difference is one thing, but knowing the difference and using them wrong is just horrible.
I used http://www.dictionary.com/ for the definitions because English is hard. (Even though its my native language.)

Well, it doesnt bug me when a gringo tries to speak spanish, because i know he is trying so people can understand him outside of his main language.

Is it that hard to just be a little bit more tolerant about outsiders whose first and main language is not english? On a english forum you are basically obliged to speak on english and it gets hard sometimes especially to keep a conversation fluid.

I said "I get it if you're new to the English language or still learning it because English is dumb and it would seem to make sense that loose would be pronounced like lose." I only have a problem if you've known English and grown up around it your whole life yet you insist on using loose instead of lose.
