Level-5 acquired Inafune's company, Comcept

image.png

After the controversial release of the Mega Man inspired Mighty Number 9, and the middling title ReCore, it seems that developer Comcept has been running into some financial concerns. And company Level-5 has bailed them out, purchasing Comcept, and making them one of their smaller developers, with a team of 15 people. This ensures that their upcoming title Red Ash will release, and that perhaps Level-5 will begin funding Inafune's junctures, rather than Kickstarter.

And where is Inazuma Eleven Go Galaxy for Europe? It's been 4 years the game has been out in Japan.
Just play a different Inazuma. It's been years since its release so they'll probably just leave that and work on another game.

Making a game is hard work. Even if you've got the talent and idea, if you don't have the ability to make it all run smoothly together, it just falls apart. Hopefully this gives comcept some room to focus on the games.

Yeah, I know :P Ares is coming soon on both Switch and 3DS. But that's really sad since it brought many improvements compared to CS gameplay and was the last one released anyway.

The website have not evidence of that. I know they have says in one interview but the website have nothing about, the game still mark as a "no console" for the game. This is the img taked right now from the website.

I have it on Steam (because idiot backer) and I am waiting for it to delete itself.
It's not even worth my time deleting it.
PS: But now I am hungry for Pizza.
Well, what about how I feel? Instead of heeding the negative feedback, I might want to try it myself. Might actually love it.

Consider it my gift, a gift of lowering expectation in preparation for the strike.
Later, when you finally are able to try it, you will not feel so bad, as you already heard about it.
In any case, think about me and "how I feel" (?) and my crusade to help everybody I can to avoid the suffering I went through, from supporting and backing the game from the beginning, going through the horrible customer support and alienation, to the end product, delayed and low quality, and even unable to pull acceptable FPS, as it drops like hell in a computer quite above what a 2.5D scroller should require.
It is my mission. My gift to humanity.

Comcept got almost 4 million dollars for Mighty No 9 kickstarter and now they are having financial concern ? I smell the rat.

They got money to fund development of the game, but the game didn't sell well because it wasn't any good.

Do you remember the cancelled Kaio: King of Pirates game by Comcept?

The development of that was a 3.8 million dollar sinkhole. The MN9 Kickstarter would've helped to mend that wound, actually selling would've put them in good standing, hopefully.
