Hello guys. I took my Wii u and the old Composite cable to use at the tv of my old grandma cuz she dont have tha Hdmi.
Well i thought the gamepad is useless anyway so I didnt took it with me. Now I dont have a signal to my tv after plugging it in.

Does the Wii u automaticly detect the changed output?
So its maybe the fault of the Tv?

Very big mistake, apart from system settings themselves and mii maker (aka browser-booted homebrew), there are probably more games that require a gamepad than games that require an external display... in fact I hardly ever have one connected :D

FUUUUU NOOO the settings forgot bout that.
Well got CBHC so no need for mii maker.
IS there a way to emulate the gamepad? Doesnt Hid to Vpad do that?
CHanging the resolution would be easy then, just watch a youtube video and do the same

I don't know if it simulates gamepad connection itself (exactly since some apps will tell you "turn on your gamepad first" before launching)

and even then selecting system settings - or the homebrew itself- without video would be quite hard...
(If you somehow get inside, press R x4, up, A, A, up, right, A, A to select 480i composite)

There is a PC gamepad emulator (drc-sim), display included, but you need a compatible wifi card and configuring it isn't easy
