???

This confuses me because you should also have boot.firm on your SD card. Make sure you have it and your SD is in your 3ds.

If the blue light comes on and then immediately goes off, then you are missing boot.firm. Delete it from your SD card, redownload Luma3DS, and put it back onto your SD card.

Things to test:

(In this order)
  1. Download Luma 8.0 and put boot.firm on root of SD
  2. Download Luma 7.1 and put boot.firm on root of SD
  3. Download Luma < 7.1 and put arm9loaderhax.bin on root of SD

If nothing works report back.

Make shure you have luma 8.0 as your boot.firm and not 7.1. 1.2 will not boot 7.1 anymore.

So, you got it booting again?

Great! Just continue with the tutorial to update and then use the Luma 8.0 boot.firm (although, with all the problems currently, I would wait)

3ds successfully booted up
but i want to upgrade the boot9strap
The only thing to look forward to with updating boot9strap is Luma with a shit ton of bugs.

I would say wait until a bug fix update to luma is made.
