Hi Guys, just a question.
I already have a 64GB USB used for Wii U backups.
Today I bought a External HDD 5TB and formatted in NTFS.
So Im wondering if it works to have them both at the same time.

I've tried here but the headaches won. So I install my vwii games on sd card and wiiu on hdd. And why 5tb? You'll never fit all this size with vwii and wiiu together!

yeah, the way I have mine setup is I have a 2TB drive for wii u backups, a 1TB drive for virtual Wii backups (ustealthed), and the sd card is for Nintendont backups. I also have toggle switches if I need them on both hdds. the setup works perfectly fine without having to do anything.

Hi guys.
I have a 2TB for WiiU and a 1TB for vWii and Nintendont. The 1TB has 2 partitions, Fat32 with Nintendon't and WBFS for vWii. Using UStealth and Cfg-loader latest mod.
Works like a charm :-)

Well wiiu only reads 2TB HDD, also it I remember getting some nags about not having 2 HDD connected at the same time. I may be wrong, in the options, it allows two to be connect, i suppose for making file transfers?

From my experience, you should be able to use 1 HDD for VWII and one for Wii U, honestly I never used a HDD for vwii, only USB Micro sd adapter. There should be tutorial or youtube video with the setup if you look. Don't buy a expensive one, maybe 500GB is the limit for Vwii, sound like enough for your own collection of wii games + game cube games if you plan to use nintendon't.

I have 2 drives, both 1.5TBs, one for just Wii U games, the other for the vWii. You can't have them both connected at the same time and work properly, but what I do is have one connected to the Wii U with the Y-cable, and the other drive sitting on top of it, and when I need to use the other drive, you just disconnect the cord from the plugged in drive (keeping the Y cable connected to the Wii U), and plug it into the back of the other drive since they connect with the same drive.
