Hacking What all is still broken on 11.4 and should I update?

I am on firmware 11.2 and I am running b9s 1.2 and luma 8.0. Should I update to 11.4 and what all is still broken on 11.4?

Ctr-httpwn.

Yea you can update, but make a backup of 11.2 so that you can go back if you want.

Yes, it is useless right now.

But if in the future 11.5 breaks some homebrews or functions like 11.4 did (streaming was broken during a whole month before it was updated to work again), without ctr-httpwn you will be required to update and lose those things.
To avoid that you could restore a NAND backup or perform a ctrtransfer to go back to 11.3 so they work again and still be able to connect online with ctr-httpwn.

Iirc Luma has patches that make online functions work even if you aren't on current firmware. If that is correct then httpwn being fixed would only really affect ofw users. If 11.5 came out then Luma should effectively still allow online functions on 11.4. Based on my testing when I was on 11.3 before NTR got updated to work fully on 11.4, I had no problems going online without ctr-httpwn

Luma allows you to connect online with games even on a lower firmware, yes, but it does not works for everything related to eShop or NNID things, such as the Pokemon Bank. So ctr-httpwn still have some utility !
