Hacking What's the difference between a region-changed console and a real-region console?

The serial number won't be that of an American console
(of course you could edit that while you're in the SecureInfo_A anyway; then it won't match any Nintendo database on deviceid<>serial number, which may or may not exist, and may or may not have practical effect)

I have a N3DS LL and region changed too. Im on A9LH right now, some times later if I want to upgrade to B9S, Do I need to do anything else ?

That IS illegal and I will not condone that.


I know that if you visit the eShop anytime before you region swap your NNID will be irreparably broken for good.I am not sure about intermittent errors though.
Even if you don't visit the eShop on a N3DS and you region change, every now and then, the eShop will still be inaccessible. Nobody knows why. Read the points on Plailect's guide. He mentions it. You'll be able to create a NNID and access the eShop for your new region, it's just sometimes it won't work.
