I just found a psp 2000 with firmware 6.60 for 8 bucks at a garage sale. It has a 32GB card in it. Just wondering what is the latest custom firmware? checking youtube and they have tutorials for PRO-B10. Is that it? This will let me play backup iso's of games right? I gotta find out how to play some emulators to. It will let me right. Back in the day you needed a pandora battery. It seems like you don't need one anymore am I correct. I won't have problems with newer games like ps portable 2.

You can update to 6.61 and install infinity, with pro cfw, is a permanent psp cfw on the latest firmware.

Wouldn't it have been easier just to go with 6.60 PRO C, since you don't require to go higher than 6.60. I mean that's what I have on my 2000 series PSP and I have never needed anything more.

Why are you looking for a downgrader? You don't need it to install infinity
Everything you need is in the tutorial

I downloaded PSP Infinity CFW [installer-1.0] [config-0.39],PSP 100X 200X 300X OFW 6.31.PBP,PSP 100X 200X 300X OFW 6.61.PBP
placed the pbp files in maker.
put it in the files in the maker folder
now for number 3. Install any LCFW. what is that

LCFW, PSP Pro or ME CFW That is "Light Custom Firmware" Reference to one that isn't permanent. Infinity makes uses of a cfw like pro cfw to patch to the system so is always enabled.

I got a problem first game I put yesterday works fine. But I tried to put more and there currupt. but the first game is there. Im thinking it's eather bad memory card since it had a currupted folder then formated it or bad usb cable cuz the data kept going down then back up again.

*sigh* this is why if this is a persons first time using CFW they should start with lfw since just getting Infinity to work is such a pain.

i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
