How to launch Nintendo Zone on newer system versions

Hello! Today, I will be explaining how to launch the Nintendo Zone app on recent firmware versions. You must have CFW (or at least arm11 kernel access through the Homebrew Launcher and Fasthax/UDsploit or Menuhax, although I don't recommend doing this) to use this method to launch it.

1. If you do not already have it, install the latest version of FBI.

2. Launch FBI and select the "titles" option from the main menu.

3. Wait for a few seconds for all the titles to load, then scroll down to the titles highlighted in red.

4. select Nintendo Zone, and select "launch app".

5. If you followed everything correctly, the Nintendo Zone app should launch! Not that anything can be done within the app since it was discontinued several years ago, but it is still accessible and can be launched.

In addition, the app can be deleted from the home screen if you wish. I only tried this on an EmuNAND I have for testing purposes, but it should work without changing anything. Not that I guarantee anything, though. Just follow the steps above until you reach step four, and choose "delete title" instead of "launch app".

in what this app is useful?
Browsing the Nintendo Zone exclusive websites? Which (were discontinued in the American region and) usually contain outdated ads and sometimes eShop code giveaways (themes or special demos)

Note that if you ever visited a Nintendo Zone with your console on the home screen, it gets unhidden anyway

Is good to still see some interest in this app, by the way as a little interesting fact the Nintendo Zone system app was still launchable for Japan region consoles the last time that I tried opening it in a Japan console (10.7.0-32), if anyone have a Japan console one can try opening it directly.

Just tried this and launched the title. Wow i kind of miss it. Has anyone tried deleting it on sysnand?
Perfectly safe like almost every system app or applet with an icon on the home screen (except system settings in the case of a reformat, not that many people hate it)

Of course you'll start getting update prompts because now you don't have a title that's being pushed out via system updates, so if you really want to blow it away you should make blank cias with matching titleid and high version number, then install them!

Don't complain about Japan.
Complain to Nintendo of America, they are the ones responsible ;)
Japan got Nintendo before America and Nintendo is a Japan-based company.
Fuck Japan.
