For those that have been wanting a Monster Hunter title to be released for the Switch, Capcom is granting your wishes, as they've just announced Monster Hunter XX, for the Nintendo Switch. According to the announcement, this is going to be an enhanced version of what the west knows as Monster Hunter Generations, which released last year initially for the Nintendo 3DS. There's no word of a localization, but Capcom is planning to reveal more details during Monster Hunter Championship 2017, which will take place on May 27th.

Very excited for the this game on the Switch to get Monster Hunter started but I think I'll wait for a true monster Hunter game developed from the ground up for the Switch aka monster Hunter 5.

I don't think Switch version adopter ware going to loose out on this port, it has cross play with the 3DS online and 4 players locally.

I can still use my o2ds instead of my n3ds. The other thing is that if my 2ds gets banned, I can just create a new emunand.
