Homebrew [Poll] This is For freeShop Users Who Were Banned

Sorry for another poll because I know there's been a ton recently, but I'm incredibly curious about this. I've been asking around and a couple that have been banned confirmed that they were using the old (Cruel's build) version of freeShop prior to their ban. So I'm wondering if this is the cause. Here's my scenario, and I haven't been banned yet.

• 3DS has been in a cabinet for the past two months or so completely dead.
• Took it out to update to B9S, and used this time to update everything that was outdated, including updating freeShop to @arc13's fork. I never ran freeShop prior to updating.
• Used the new version of freeShop to install OoT and the new Mario Sports game.
• Played Smash online for a short period of time, and accessed eShop multiple times.
• Spotpass was enabled the entire time until last night. Now it and WiFi are both indefinitely disabled.

This isn't to say I won't be banned, but I'm wondering if this may be the cause, because like I said, a couple have confirmed already that they were indeed using the old version of freeShop prior to their ban.

There's no real difference between the original and fork in how they work, same titleID and everything. If one would get you banned, the other would.

I have been using the fork on my O3DS Xl sense day one of release and that is the system that got banned I do not use freeshop on my 2ds

I haven't been banned(yet) either but I'm using the OG freeShop on my 2DS and arc13's fork on my N3DSXL(updated from original freeShop). I don't play many 3DS games but I have downloaded a handful of titles from freeShop(never played online though), I mostly get systems for homebew and emulation. I guess only time will tell for us non-banned users.

Except there's no real way to gauge these variables without polling. It's hard to create a poll that umbrellas all scenarios.

We won't really know until more time passes. But If they started rolling out Monday I'd figure that there'd be a lot more bans than what we've seen so far.

FreeShop could be one of the "unauthorized" applications they are talking about. Nintendo's vague banning makes it nearly impossible to figure out just what people were banned for. I just hope that they only stick to banning and not bricking systems again
