Hacking How do you make a hacked Wii play WiiWare Games?

I already hacked my Wii and installed the Homebrew Channel and USBLoader GX. I can play backups of disc-based games, but I can't play WiiWare games. Sorry for being such a noob...can someone please tell me the easiest way to achieve this? Thank you in advance.

You need the .wad file of the wiiware game you want to install (I can't give you them and you can't ask for links here) and a wad manager like Yet Anoher Wad Manager Mod (Be sure the .wad of the channel is from the same region as your Wii or you could brick)

Thanks for the info. When you say brick you mean it will completely brick my Wii and I won't be able to use it any more? Or is there some way to redeem it from said bricked state once it is bricked?

IIRC it only gives a banner brick, and you can recover from this kind of brick if you have Bootmii installed as Boot2 and a NAND (the memory of your console) backup.
Anyway, if you only install .wad files from your region and from a reputable source you should get no bricks at all (Trust me, I grab my PAL .wad files from a site I know and they haven't caused me a single brick)
Also, since you're from america your console should be an NTSC one, so install only NTSC .wad files

I think there's a PC program that let's you change the region of the .wad (or make them region free) but I don't remember the name right now
Also if you have priiloader you can try to use the "Regionfree channels" and "regionfree EVERYTHING" system menu hacks, but I never tried them so I'm not sure if that works
EDIT: The program's name is freethewads, but again, I never used it and i don't know if it works with all the games

iam now messing with ultimate nintendo wii project...i got already done two and this region free stuff interests me, as i has proclaimed that its abs. region free done with priiloader you know region free channels, region free everything
but i cant test it or maybe afraid to flash ntsc wad on modded pal console, also i dont have us or jp wii discs to try...has anyone real experience with this?

Don't forget you will need a patched system menu IOS to run (fakesigned) wiiware wads from sysmenu.

Not really, titles are only verified on installation
This only applies to "running them from SD", since they're actually just copied to internal storage (which counts as reinstallation)

Actually, to fix a banner brick, you have enough with priiloader and the installed wad. As priiloader starts before the WM tries to load the corrupted wad, you van boot into priiloader, HBC, and finally a wad manager. Then just uninstall the wad and reboot.

and the screen that freezes on "loading", I do "power" I turn on again, I launch loadergx and there

see if emunand channels are selected, hide nand channels unless you want crap like the shop channel appearing in your list.

Phew! System functional again! To recover my system I just delete "GXGameSettings.cfg" (where there are the parameters I entered for MetalSlugX (NTSC-U)) and "GXGameStatistics.cfg" (which has nothing to do but good I still fired it) and my HDD is recognized again. Is it space anyway? No?? A game setting that made my HDD no longer detect ?? With your experience, do you have a coherent explanation for this ??
