Fire Red doesn't have an internal battery.I think they could be fakes. Considering no batteries are visible.
The Fire Red is most likely fake, as the originals outter shell was a solid red color, not transparent like this one.
So I recently bought these two games at my local gamestop, but when i got home i realized the cartridges looked a little of. I'm pretty sure they are fake but i just wanted someone to confirm View attachment 87319
The gamestop I go to does. On the gamestop website you can order GBA games also.Well I can assure you did not get those from GameStop because they no longer sell GBA games
GameStop started selling "Retro" games and consoles again a year or two ago, of which they include GBA things in.Well I can assure you did not get those from GameStop because they no longer sell GBA games
Fire Red doesn't have a RTC.Another thing is Sapphire and Fire Red (I think it had RTC) are missing their batteries.
Nah, FireRed was transparent. I got mine 13 years ago from walmart when it came out.
Were there any official games with glob top chips? That's primarily a bootleg thing right?
Oh.Fire Red doesn't have an internal battery.
But both look fake. The sticker on Fire Red isn't shiny (at least, not in this pic) and, as mentioned, no visible battery for Sapphire = fake.
