Homebrew Thinking of selling my WiiU, does hacking make it worth more?

Is this the right place for this?

So I'm thinking of selling my wiiu for a switch, and I have the money to get the DS title to get cold boot hakchi. Should I get cold boot, then sell it? Is it worth more? Also, if so, how should I go about setting it up for sale, with my NNID and all?

EDIT: btw I have two wiiu's so I can still participate in the homebrew scene

don't sell it as that would be the same as throwing it away. If you want to throw it away just give it to me.

Selling for more is like selling other people's work such as the iosuhax and Smea will off you for that :P
Code:
seriously though if you try to make money off this i will fucking end you
There are still lazy people that will buy stuff with the hacks ready to use because why the fuck no. So if he finds someone interested he can grab a little more of cash that he could use to buy an actual better console.

i guess that kinda makes sense, I'm not selling his work I just thought maybe noobs would buy it because they don't know how to hack it :/
every wii can be modded on the latest firmware, so, is it worth more bc of that? definitely not
See earlier statement.

That's what I was going for, noobs/lazy people may like it I guess :/

Depends on who you're selling it tbh someone will care and pay a bit extra but some won't give a damn

If you sell a (ColdBoot hacked) Wii U with legit DS titles on it tied to your account, you should list it as "100% Brick Ready" and add it to the Wii U RIP list cuz it will be a walking dead man.

Well if that extra money makes up for the cost of the DS game why the fuck not

That's their problem. Jk but I can warn the person of the risks and if they fuck it up its not my fault

To sell it for extra you're going to have to make the person or people you trying to sell it to think that its worth the extra money.

Fair enough, but I think some people are just so lazy they'll throw in an extra few dollars because they don't have to set it up

Also for everyone else, what if I put dumps of some of my games on my SD for more money?

Also can someone tell me how I would prepare it if I did sell it?

lol you would make more money if you throwed in an hdd with games installed becuase everyone can easily get the titles to download and if they dont know how to download them they probably wont know how to use wupinstaller either.
True, don't have an hdd tho, could I just install as many as I can to the system?

well that would be ok i guess, try to isntall small games becuase some games take almost all the system storage lol.
Yeah lol. Regardless I'll want to sell it even if it makes a standard amount of money because I literally never use it

Also again can someone tell me how I set it up for sale? I hear that you'll brick if you remove the NNID, is there a way to block access for them and create a new user, but the DS game is still usable?

In theory, if someone wanted a pre-hacked WiiU, I'm sure they'd be willing to pay more for it. The problem is you can't advertise that its hacked, someone was recently arrested for this in Eur.

1: but can you in America?
2: is advertising preloaded games legal?
