This is a thread to share the team you had when you beat the Elite Four in the first Pokemon game you played. Here is the format it should be in:

Game
First Pokemon - Lvl
Second Pokemon - Lvl
Third Pokemon - Lvl
Fourth Pokemon - Lvl
Fifth Pokemon - Lvl
Sixth Pokemon - Lvl

(If you don't remember your first one, just tell us any)

I don't remember, but I'll share the E4 conquering team from my most recent Yellow playthrough. Finished yesterday.

Pikachu
Blastoise
Charizard
Venusaur
Primeape
and the MVP, Alakazam. As a kid I never got to have these trade evolution mons since I had nobody to trade with and I didn't have money to buy another console and game to trade with myself. Now that I have, it's amazing. On Red I traded myself a Haunter that became a Gengar. Also, psychic pokemon back then were gods, aside from Blue's Jolteon (I named him Vegeta while my character's Goku), Alakazam faced no weaknesses, and Gen 1 had Special Attack and Defense as one stat. I feel like Alakazam tanked more special moves as a result of this prehistoric game mechanic, and that is a frail pokemon to begin with. Alakazam was my favorite for the longest time until I played Gen 3 games, so to finally play a main series game with that on my team was a pleasure. A dream come true basically.

I remember playing Red when it first came out. I don't remember my exact team but I'm playing a mod of Emerald called Theta Emerald EX and it's incredibly fun and has all Pokemon, items, and abilities up to Gen VI. Anyways, my team for this mod was:

1. Blaziken Lv: 79 @ Blazikenite (Low Sweep/Swords Dance/Knock Off/Fire Punch) - Speed Boost
2. Serperior Lv: 79 @ Leftovers (Leaf Storm/Giga Drain/Substitute/Dragon Pulse) - Contrary
3. Electivire Lv: 79 @ Rocky Helmet (ThunderPunch/Fire Punch/Volt Switch/Earthquake) - Vital Spirit
4. Kingdra Lv: 79 @ Damp Rock (Surf/Brine/Rain Dance/Ice Beam) Swift Swim
5. Gardevoir Lv: 79 @ Big Root (Psychic/Calm Mind/Drain Kiss/Thunderbolt) - Trace
6. Crovat Lv: 79 @ (No Item) (Acrobatics/Giga Drain/Poison Fang/U Turn) - Inner Focus

I totally recommend you try this game. It's nearly bug free and complete. The only bugs I noticed with newest version are...
- Drain Kiss and Electro Ball's animation causes game to hang for ~30 Seconds for some reason. (It can be avoided by turning off Battle Scene in settings)
- Certain Double Battles may make you have to soft reset (Can be avoided by avoiding two trainer battles)
- Hall Of Fame Pokemon doesn't display expanded Pokemon correctly (Apparently, there's a limiter somewhere)

Please do try this game! :)

You got me sold, is it emulator only or can it be played on 3DS?

I should've mentioned earlier that the first main series pokemon game I played was actually Yellow. However, the very first Pokemon game I played was Stadium, at one point I was able to link up Yellow to that but never ran with it for long, most of that period was spent playing Yellow on their emulator thing, which was brilliant because it sped the game up. Going back to Yellow recently, fuck it's so slow, and even though I did the tactic I've done since Gen 6, defeat every single thing I encounter, trainer or wild, I wasn't leveled up enough for the E4. Still won after the 2nd try, but I'm used to being overleveled thanks to Gen 6 and 7. Also, I thought EXP All would be a savior, I forgot about how useless it is, especially by the time I got it. If I didn't have a full team and I was training just one mon that's say level 5 while the mon cleaning up is level 50, it probably serves me well when going to Cerulean Cave or beating on the E4 again, but damn, whole team, all in the 40-50 level range, 50 EXP for the non-leads, that's ridiculous. On Red now I'm almost making the pokemon equally leveled, whereas in Yellow I was focusing on Primeape until Saffron (I went out of order and did Sabrina first, then Koga). At one point Primeape was 37, trainers, Rockets, were around 22-25, and so were my other pokemon. Then came Alakazam taking the reigns, and temporary shine to the starters, Pikachu basically was left in the dust. His biggest contribution come E4 time was paralyzing Vegeta's (Blue) Exeggecutor, allowing Charizard to sweep in and do some damage. Pikachu was level 34 entering the HOF, meanwhile Alakazam was 57, Blastoise was 48, Charizard was 41, Venusaur was 49, Primeape was 48.

I play it on my revo K plus 101 which is a flash card, I don't like the urge of using savestates but it can be played on emulators. Oh but on 3ds i had white screens with expanded emerald roms (32mb) but not 16mb roms. Let me know if it works for you

Jesus, ask me that 20 years ago and I'd have a better idea (it was Pokemon Red FYI). But I certainly had Blastoise, probably the legendary birds: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, maybe Snorlax, maybe Dragonite, maybe Gengar, or maybe Alakazam. I know thats more than 6, but some sort of group of 6 of those pokemon with one of them definitely being Blastoise is pretty likely to what I would have had. No way to know for sure now though sadly. I sold that old cartridge years ago.

I used the Ultimate GBA VC Injector and it seems to work out well on 3DS. It has that internal battery message, so are there any time based events to care about? Also it says the save file's corrupt but loads up just fine. First encounter was an Electroweb using Caterpie. I'm into this. I hope it doesn't have that E4 thing that resembles pirated versions of the game where after E4 and the game saves, on booting up, the save file is wiped.
