Breeding (just think of those baby hand sized dog and cats), farming (which pollute the soil, kills unimaginable number of lives and fuels swarms infects), growing population (while I might be in the unwanted 99.9%, humans are now infestations). And those stupid farmers.

What is the alternative though?

Farming is essential for humans to survive. Without farming children would probably still be born, but starve to death.

How many drugs are you on? We kind of need farmers to survive

This.

Is the entirety of it evil? No way. Does it cause a lot of harm and issue, sure. Can we avoid that? Likely not at this point in time.

Just another quality Yil thread. Can't wait to see some interesting replies.

But, how does farming kill people?
It requires removal of forest which causes the ecosystem to die, farmers kill all the 'unwanted' plants and soil can at best sustain several hundred years before taking much longer to get back to a rich state.

Um, not all farmers do that, and most of the time farming is actually beneficial

Removing forest kills animals and hurts biodiversity - which does wreak havoc on the local ecosystems.

But it does not kill people.

I don't know what OP is referencing specifically about agriculture to but honestly the most harmful type of agriculture is animal - both factory farms and "free range" are both ruining the environment and are largely unsustainable for the ever increasing population and definitely more damaging than just growing plants for food etc

I got thinking after cutting down countless wood in BOTW.
Benefical how? What give us the right to decide one species is more deserving to live than another?
I agree on one point
99% of humans are parasites and don't deserve the right to waste earth ressources
Will you accept if you are the 99% that needs to die? I think I am ready to go either way.

I'm saying that farming is, not destroying forests

So playing zelda is what made you think farming is evil? hmm.

You can argue either way about which species gets to live, but it's only natural that the best suited species kills the weaker ones off - that is natural selection.

Also - no one needs to die at this point. We still haven't reached earth's carrying capacity, and maybe if we keep funding space exploration we will never have to think about population culling.

Lots of farmlands used to be trees and other vegetations, and we destoryed them all cause they do not produce things of value.
yeah, Dionicio is flat wrong if he thinks farmland didn't come at the expense of forests.
