Never heard of that psu and 800w is overpower because you don't sli or overclock, even if you want to overclock i think 800w is too much. First when i try to build a gaming pc i think of the psu, it's really important to choose a good brand.Otherwise if you buy cheaper one it can destroy your other components.

The rest of the pc is ok, if you can find the i5 7600 for the same price, it would be cool. You can also think about ryzen cpu if you want, like the ryzen 1600x.

agree, @indev97 a 800 watts PSU is too much, get a gold psu of 650 watts or something like that, it will save your electrical bill, the closest is to your required needs, the more efficient it will be
only if you going with something like 2 GPUS sli and overclock you need more than 700 watts...

PS: even nvidea recommends a 500 watts PSU with that gpu, but i say 650 for an upgrade later. that gpu only consules 145 watts

It's funny how a $500 laptop is pretty much bullshit compared to that. My $500 laptop has 6 GB DDR3 RAM, a bloody i3-5005U with crappy Intel HD Graphics 5500 GPU, a slow-as-hell 1 TB HDD which makes Google Chrome take 35 seconds to start and 2 minutes for Firefox.

Fanboyism is not going to help you. If something is better, it is better.

well you should care.. the reason you do not care most likely is you are not the one paying the bills at the end of the month.. having a lower wattage psu and a good 80 plus ranking makes you save money in the long run... if you are the one who pays the bill, you can save some euros that can go into a later upgrade..
your rig with that gpu and with a normal cpu (65 watts) i believe it will consume maximum 300... if you have a 800 watts psu, you're just burning money..
but yeah, whatever..

Laptops aren't the same like before, some years i got a i3 with great nvidia card for 499 euro and now it's all with intel gpu overpriced.

800W PSU? Wew lad, at the most it needs 650 for upgrade room. The rest I don't see a problem but including the gpu it's over 500. Just sayin, not everyone has a spare GPU lying around haha

I doubt that psu will even reach 500-600w before shutting down burning out, you should have went with a name brand lower wattage one instead of a noname brand one because you saw it was cheap and had alot of watts.
