First of all thanks to anyone one in advance who answers my following questions

1. If I hombrew my Wii U will I be able to download ISOs from online and play it on my Wii U without having to install a CFW. And if that is the case is there a "Free shop" kind of program like the 3DS that allows me to directly download games online?

2. If I need to install a CFW how high is the risk that I could brick my Wii U? The 3ds has 3ds.guide which gives very clear steps and updates regularly, is there something like that for a Wii U CFW?

3. If there's a potential update for the Wii U (which is unlikely at this point) what could happen if I update it with a homebrewed Wii U?

Thanks again.

1. It's against the rules to ask such questions

2. No risk for using CFW, and you don't install it. You have to run it every time you need it.Wii U hacking is much easier and not prone to bricking.

3. You don't "modify" the Wii U in any way, it remains stock. Updating will just lead to patched exploits. At this point, an update may never come.

Read through the noob guide then come back and ask questions. Everything you asked is covered in there

1. Wii U USB Helper can download both Wii U and 3DS games so use that instead of these dumb 1250 part .zips from chaos sites.#
2. You're not installing CFW, you can either Coldboot [CBHC] or launch .elf manually [Haxchi, Mocha]
You can take a look at my redNAND-free guide, WiiUBrU guide and like Kafluke said, his guide.
3. There's always an possibility so set up DNS blocking.

Nothing that he asked in his first question is against the rules of the site he does not ask for links to downloads or anything like that all he asks is that if he downloads games can he install them and will he need a cfw and if a program like free shop exists nothing there is against the rules.
