This works on o3DSXL!!!

Even with A9LH Luma3DS fw11.3!!!

I tried several versions, but it wasn't until I installed to NAND that it worked. The other revisions gave the icon but would crash & reboot.

This is so awesome.

This should be a staple in Homebrew Launcher for all O3DSXL users.

This works on o3DSXL??

Is this still available and does it work with A9LH Luma3DS fw11.3?

Really don't need FtPony, just want to quick transfer savedata dumps to/fro 3ds/Windows 10 lappy.

So want.

EDIT: So I got a hold of it, and it crashes out and reboots. :-( So wanted this to work. Was worth a try...
of course it works fine

just thought i would share something i think a lot of you will find useful, new 3DS and old 3DS users alike, its the microSD management app running as a standalone app on the home screen, this allows you have access to the microSD on the n3DS without opening the back cover or being kicked out of emunand, and for old 3DS users it will allow you to transfer files over reliably without having to exit emunand and remove the SD card .....as per usual no sharing on gbatemp, but i have told someone else how to do it too so they will probably share it elsewhere "soon"....but i heard people like to know whats coming before its even arrived so here you go :)

thanks for this app... just want to ask, on what specific offset on icon.bin should we change to let it show on homemenu?
and also, i see some annoying message telling about "system will be restarted" when exiting the app... is there a way to disable that?
thanks...

isn't this part of devapps? just like the config app (the one which allows calibration of voltage to upper and lower screens, to avoid flickering and artifacts, especially after ctrtransfer, or region change, which of course involves ctr transfer).. The one I have from retail encrypted devapps is called MicroSDManagment_US_NAND.cia, but of course you can call it anything and it wouldn't matter. TitleID is 0004001020024100 ...

I'm just curious because what you're describing sounds just like this app, which was originally only found on devkit units, and can now be installed on NAND, and run on retail units.

nope this app is actually installed on retail n3ds consoles by default but it can only be started via system setting as it has a flag set to make it not appear in the home screen, the eu/jpn versions also have exheader issues that cause them to make the system crash on exiting, to get around that I took the US exheader and changed the titleID to match the EU/JPN versions m so then all the different versions could be used from the home screen without causing the system to crash after launching the next game

can you pm me the link of this method? thanks...
Just rename the png to the title ID mine is EUR so I named the png to "microSD Managment .20025100.png" installnit using GYTB put it on home screen and profit it will throw an error when you exit wireless management cause it's meant to go back to settings but just ignore it
ZkPJe0i.jpg

but yeah it looks like it still does the error if you use the badge method too

the new 3DS' have this option on the Configuration menu. When I hacked my 3DS (RIP) I used that to put in all the files w/o pulling in and out my microSD card
