Hacking will we ever get a autoboot/coldboot cfw for the vita !?

surely this may have been asked quite often, but seriously my vita is pissing me off.

i have the silm one, on 3.60
henkaku xyz site trial and error, i literally just got about 10 times failing to load it up.

the email way is even worse.

i usually always keep my vita in sleep mode just not to have to go through that pain again, but the thing is sometimes my vita freezes, especially when using Adrenaline =_=

at times it freezes after i exit a psx/psp games. (so i hard power it down, and this leads me to having to load up henkaku mode again)

i am using a 64gig card ,mayhap i have too much on my vita thus it freezing at times , no idea.

but it'd be so damn nice to have it boot straight with cfw.

i hope we get something like that sometime soon ==

I haven't gotten a Vita yet, so sorry I can't contribute much to your problem here. sounds to me like a file is corrupted on your memcard somewhere. have you tried backing up your data, formatting the card, and restoring your data? if that doesn't help, I hope someone knows something that will, I'm curious about this myself.

The email offline installer is way easier than the website. Yea it fails a lot too, but the beauty of it is u just open it and let it run until success.

If they ever crack lv0, get the keys, basically find some epic hack that totally unlocks the system, we will get a full installable cfw along with not having to be stuck on the latest firmware. If only we could get a9lh and freeshop ported to the vita. Lol

Afaik, nobody is working on it. At least they're not talking about it if they are. A lot of ppl have abandoned the vita and moved to the switch. Vita has a lot of untapped potential. I'm with you in hoping to see advancements.

At least you don't have to format your memory stick my ps vita act like it can read it after my ps vita freezes and mines usually gets stuck in standby mode leaving me to hard reset.

To add to this, use as little plugins as possible. I only use amphetamine. The vita just doesn't really like plugins. The cheat plugin is especially fucky. Some games require amphetamine to work, some don't. That's the only reason i have it and i refuse to use any other plugin. My Vita has been running smoothly since i hacked it the day henkaku 1st released.

That's surprising for me, I use the online installer and so far success rate is around 90% for me. Also haven't had any problems with freezing (other than in some homebrews but that wasn't related to the vita itself).

Might be your memory card. I also have a 64GB card and success rate is pretty high. I don't even bother with the offline installer.

Can attest to the same, success rate after a boot is about 95% for me with my 64GB. It drops significantly if I start any games before trying though.

that is the only plugin i use too, post above says that opening some game before trying loading up henkaku can mess up success rate maybe?

because i did try to open a game or two before trying to load up henkaku, i will power off my vita and try it again.
it usually is also good for me most of the time , success rate would be 80-90%.

but today it decides to mess with me, it is weird as i got my vita freezing on me twice now, both whilst using Adrenaline *sigh*
and i love that adrenaline emu, psx/psp is fun.

Being honest, since when have web exploits have 100% Success rate? Wii u isn't always perfect. 3DS isn't always perfect when we used web exploits, this was expected o be better? I'm not saying anything bad about anything or anyone, but is not like is expected to work all the time, even the official description says it will not always work flawlessly. Maybe soon a more permanent solution would work, it only depends on how determined someone is to get it though.

It will retry until it works with no further input from you. If you are having low success rate, this can ease your headache.

FYI - I have a 99.9 % (if not outright 100%) successful HENkaku boot rate on PSTV (unlike on my Vita)

Vita TV has a much higher success rate with the offline installer than on the actual Vita, I have no idea why.

Honestly, all I want to see us the ability to play games on higher firmwares since there is a few that I want to play otherwise this is probably the best it will ever get.

Don't know why but no one outside of a small number of people hate the Vita.

it finally worked, after many reboots of my vita =_=

with the email way i kept getting henkaku failed to install taihen with it, so i rebooted again and i ejected my memory card and put it back in, and finally it booted with the browser.

as i was afraid i'd run into the henkaku failed to install taihen with the email way, so anyway how do i avoid encountering this issue ? (someone on reddit suggested to open molecular shell to check and see if unsafe mode is enabled, because if it is supposedly in safe mode, then the email way will have troubles updating.) anyway i checked my vitashell/molecular shell both show 'unsafe mode'

i'd like to update the email exploit too, just in case.
so how exactly do i update the email exploit.

i have not touched anything from my folders ever since i first installed henkaku on it, i have then used the website once that was for taihen i think?

i have no idea, are they both the merged now ? because the site i use now only appears as henkaku xyz , and well i want to know what i can delete and be safe with it, and maybe will have a better success rate ?

i have a folder in the root of ux0 titled as 'tai' and there are 3 files in it, should i delete this folder or is it still needed?
i only need the normal game backups/ adrenaline compatibility and that's it.

To update the email, just run the exploit with wifi on. It should automatically load the latest henkaku, then the next time you do it offline, you will get the version you just loaded...if that makes sense.
