Gaming Question: Is it useless to buy a Xbox one

I own a good windows 10 gaming pc, and i vent really taken a look on the games... i am not sure if every Xbox one game is available on the windows store!
could someone help me out?

A lot of the triple A games are on Windows as well, but it's also worth it simply because it's built for gaming, and you can use a tv instead of a monitor.

Only halo 5 and sunset overdrive aren't on pc.Everything else I think is there.

Insomniac has been implying sunset overdrive 2 will be multiplatform. personally though, I love xbox one for deals rather than exclusives. With backwards compatibility and games with gold being awesome, not to mention the upcoming xbox game pass. You really get a lot of good games with value

You have cheaper alternatives like PS4, Nintendo Switch. [Before you scream at me: Xbox one is expensive than everything listed here atleast in my country]
Get whatever console you want to get, don't buy one console for one game because that's lame.
You will get bored of it and eventually it will sit in it's original packaging.

That is essentially the best summary, just buy the console that most of your friends play and if it is cheap enough. Playing with other people is worth it. unless, you do not like multiplayer games

If you have a gaming pc, getting a console isn't the best option imho. Get a portable like the n3dsxl, hack it and have virtually unlimited fun. Only real perk on xbox one over pc is 4 free games per month (of Microsoft's choosing). That's with a $60 yearly paid subscription.
Same goes for ps4, but I'm more of a xbone fan. I know, im like the only person that likes xbox over ps4, but the ps4 feels so cheaply made. Especially the controllers. Fuck the ds4. Xbone controller will take a lot more use and abuse than the feather light, cheap ds4. But i digress...

Tl/dr: fuck a home console. U have a gaming pc. Get a n3dsxl on 11.3, hack it and have way more fun.

Uhm that's extremely wrong and even then you could very well hook up a PC to a TV so you're point? Got any other good reasons?

Back on topic, as others have said, ditch the Xbox One it just isn't worth it.

Overall advantages of the xbone=External assets for both skyrim/fallout without needing to build a pc, (which isn't worth it with a 5gb restriction and no true exclusives to justify the console) backwards compatibility for 360 games if you had a 360 last gen and sold it but kept the games,and homebrew if you can get a dev account.

Disadvantages=No true exclusives,only 2 that I can think of which are sunset overdrive and halo 5.There are some Xbox/pc games but they of course are better played through pc overall.

So is the Xbox one worthless? Currently Yes,unless you really can't be bothered to build a pc to mod skyrim or if homebrew development improves.

There's not a single thing an Xbox One does better than a good Windows PC or another console, and it just doesn't have the exclusives to justify buying it. I'm a PC player, too, but most of the Xbox exclusives are on the Windows store. A PS4 would be worth it for its good exclusives, like Persona 5, HZD, The Last of Us, etc. A Switch would be worth it for its upcoming lineup and if the portability is something you like. But Xbox One? I just don't see it. I don't even think its worth it for its Netflix/Blu-Ray capabilities, because A.) PS4 does that just fine and B.) your SmartTV likely already has all you need, or just any ol' laptop.

I personally gave up off the need to always spend money to upgrade PC components, better to buy Xbox One X than a PC that will lasts less than a year regarding to play a game with High Quality settings.

No, you don't constantly have to buy PC components. The requirements don't change that drastically in "less than a year". Spend a lot of money at once and you'll be good for a long time. If your FPS ever struggles just tone down the settings, it won't make that big of a difference. And it'll sure as hell look better, run much smoother and last longer than your Xbox One X.

If you want to play Halo, Xbox is the way to go. IMHO since I'm a fan of Halo, though I haven't played their latest title only up to Halo 3.
