It has 11.4, with LumaCFW/A9LH.

I've tried the trading thread here, not much response.

I sold it on eBay then eBay cancelled the listing AFTER it sold, before the guy had paid on "copyright" grounds, and won't refund my final value fee. I tried contacting buyer to say he could still have it for same price, no reply.

I listed it on Gumtree, they removed it on "copyright" grounds (they're owned by eBay).

Seems I'd have to not mention the LumaCFW/mod/A9LH to sell it in these places, but that will reduce value.

Any ideas?

Always try Facebook selling sites. Or put an advert in a game shop or something. Seeing as it's copyrighted stuff you've broken as it's cfw then the bidding sites will refuse the sale. Seeing as many people who want a modded 3ds already have one it'll be harder for you to sell.

Best bet is sell it privately

Gumtree

tried and tested, used a few times for this very purpose

Edit... Just be careful on the wording

Any suggestions on wording? Any ideas on price? It's mint condition, 8 months warranty left, Argos receipt included, boxed, etc, with UK mains charger.

Try mercari. Ive always had good luck on their mobile app. They do take 10 percent but they deposit directly into your bank account so you don't get hit with PayPal fees. But unlike eBay you don't get paid until the buyer gets the item and rates you.

That's strange, eBay seems to have no problem letting people sell modded NES Classics, even letting them advertise they are pre-loaded with hundreds of games.
