Cant use a 8gb sd card u need to use an 2gb sd card or so I hear. When I switched it worked for me because I was using an 8gb too

Wasn't that because it was a non SDHC R4? SDHC R4 supports anything above 4GB. Also it works on my NDSL.

I recently bought an R4.
It worked perfectly on my 2ds, but i tried it on my sister's 3ds and i got the Fatal Error Screen™ telling me to turn off.

R4 flash carts don't seem to work unless you have a really low firmware on your 3DS, or if you install custom firmware on your 3DS.

I have a 3DS XL that once had firmware 7.2, and my R4 3DS flash cart started to work again after I installed a9lh + luma3DS on it.

I could be wrong, but not all R4 carts are compatible with 3DS.

Case in point, this is my R4, which clearly says 3DS on it, and on the bottom (not very clear) mentions it is compatible with NDS and 3DS

I've got an O3DS with LUMA and A9LH. I want to make use of DS games and have this DSTT card with a microSD card of 32GB.

I've installed the DSTT launcher via FBI and after starting I've got this black screen:

"An error has occured. Hold down the power button to turn off the power."

I've also tried to open the card itself, but it gave me the same error.

How could I make use of this card to play .nds games?

I am on A9LH and Luma, and I don't know how to start in regular SysNAND mode, to install the M3DSReal_Launcher.cia.
I already installed it in Luma mode and got Hourglass 9 to install the FBI Installer back to the H&S app(was putting it back after following the 3DS.guide), but tried every L or R button pressing method while starting combined with Luma settings Auto Start Sys Nand and the second option "use SysNAND FIRM if starting with R" seems not to start it. I also created a Dump of the SysNAND...
NTR also seems not to start from Luma, says unknown FW or similar...

did anyone try cloning a 2gb sd card onto a 4 or 8 gb. for use with r4ds. it makes the 4gb appear as a 2gb card

Do I need to have a patched TWL already?
I'm running luma on a9lh on a new 3ds and I'd like to use my TTDS. Do I need to install YSMenu, or just installing the cia will do?
(I know YSMenu is better, but I can't risk to brick my TTDS which has served all these years without issues )

I have an R4 SDHC. It has no website on its black and silver sticker. The label only differs from the original due to the SDHC logo to the right on the R4. (Please see picture uploaded). I have tried the r4i Gold, TTDS and R4 launchers, to no avail. Most recently, I tried version 1.9.9 (Latest at the time of this post) of your NTR Launcher, where I experienced white screens from which could exit to the HOME Menu. I have only installed the .cia, i.e. I am not using a dumped rom. Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Would it help if I dumped the rom? (I do not have a DS with which to do this, but I'll gladly attempt any method you recommmend that does not require one.)

I probably should have mentioned That I'm running Luma 3DS on version 7.0.4-5a404c3a , so I assume that my TWL is quite patched. Also, I have tested some ds came cards on it, and they work, so it can't be tied down to loss of DS functionality.

I'm also using the 1.32 kernel found here, but no wood or YSmenu, in case that would ruin compatibility.

Hello, I have an R4 SDHC dual core and i already know that it's a clone, the one that shows the sponge-bob icon when inserted, i think that it's bootloader was messed when i tried that "add games" option in TWLoader, now it shows nothing when inserted to my 3ds with Luma cfw (unknown card) (and it's not contact issues), fortunately i dumped the flashcart's rom before it was messed up, with D9, all i want to know is if there is a way to use that dump to access and play roms from the messed R4 SDHC sd card. Thank you

I have CFW Luma on my Sysnand, a luma version from a few weeks ago, and I have a "R4 Upgrade Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS)" but it didn't load with the R4CartLauncher_AnyKernel. What I have to do? It works properly on my ODS, it gets stuck on the "loading..." screen on my O3DS.
