So guys. Let me start off with saying that i have searched the forum and google etc.

But i would like your help instead.
I have installed BOTW with the 'Brazilian Method' and I want to install the soon to be released DLC.
What are my options?

I know there is a way to install it but you have to go through a menu in order to use it every time you reboot your console, I don't want this!

Can i just buy the DLC and use it? Or install CFW.

And what about the CFW, there are so many options, and I'm sorry guys, i don't understand them.

REDNAND/SYSNAND different versions.

Please help me

Thanks to the latest botw patch, you can legit install the dlc for free using: https://gbatemp.net/threads/play-zelda-botw-with-all-dlc-for-free-without-cfw.469520/
You can also just buy the dlc if you want.

Thank you for your reply. Still, this seems like a lot of work.
I will look into it later.

Thanks again

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
