UPDATE: July 2022
Luma3DS cfw now has DSP dumping built-in, making this homebrew irrelevant. Thanks to all the users who downloaded this app over the years (over 1 million of you!), and put up with that ugly sounding little jingle it made :P Hope you found the app useful overall :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like other homebrew apps before it, this just dumps the dspfirm.cdc needed for sound in cia homebrew, but with the following enhancements:
  • cia format which avoids the problem of shaky .3dsx support on the latest firm, 11.4. Also, cia is just more practical since that is the homebrew format that needs the dsp dump, not .3dsx brew.
  • Better info and graphics that tell you in detail what's going on. An actual dsp sound test is performed.
  • Cruelty free
  • Open source with permissive license: https://github.com/zoogie/DSP1

You can get DSP1 from the FBI's titleDB homebrew store alphabetically listed under "DSP1".
Or you can also download the attachment and install it the conventional way.
Consult this version if your tin foil hat commands you to conceal your evil dsp dumping activity from Nintendo's ever watchful eyes. (hint: they don't care if you run homebrew cias)

Thanx for the release! I think I have dumped my dsp before. I cant remember :P

Will anything be broken if the dsp already is dumped and I dump dsp once again with this?

i personally prefer my software authors not to be involved in child related crimes... but sure, it might not make a difference to you.
Ofcourse i don't think anyone agrees with what he did but should we all include we're not bank Robbers, Serial murders etc in our feature list?

Because he can. As simple as that.
Its just unnecessary, thats why people complain. The topic has been chewed on long enough and it gives powder to the persons who directly connect the person with the software, which isn't a good behaviour. Anyway, if this isn't developing into something used more often, it shouldnt be a problem.
