Hacking Going to trade 3DS in, how to put back to stock firmware

I have a New 3DS XL, on 11.2, modded with Luma CFW. How do I put it back to stock so I can trade in at my local CEX store?

Or would I get more for selling it on Gumtree/eBay by leaving it modded? I'm in the UK, any idea how much it would fetch? CEX will give me £93 store credit.

cex going to rip you, only trade in if you need quick cash.

usually a modded will give more. but most of times marketplace sites or something does not allow modded console for sale

If you want to SafeA9LHInstaller and then uninstall, or restore previous NAND backup without it installed.

Only work around for selling with modding in mind without issue I can think of, is to restore a previous NAND with an exploitable firmware/remove A9LH and advertise it with that firmware version.

You could maybe advertise it with opt included on sd but that just increases the risk depending on what the mods are looking for.

If you don't have a NAND backup to restore, you can always just put SaltFW on the Ctrnand and format the system, it'll function as vanilla unless someone goes out if their way to try to hack it.

Pretty sure I have a NAND backup, I followed 3ds.guide to the letter when I did it.

Restore the original nand backup without "keep a9lh".

the system will then be on ofw, but be hackable. then sell it on ebay advertising the firmware version.

Assuming it has A9LH installed, System Format should be enough. Note that this will also delete FBI unless it's installed to NAND and/or injected into Health & Safety.
