i love my switch and I just paid quite some money to get all of the adapters i need to play my switch on the VGA montoir i have at my desk I plugged everything in nothing works no picture is there anything i can do to troubleshoot

You can't just connect a digital video out to an analog input with a passive adapter.
As far as I'm aware, the Switch doesn't provide analog video out.

It's not a matter of resolution. The Switch can't output analog video, and the monitor most likely can't use digital video over a VGA connection.

You didn't prove me wrong. Unless I'm mistaken, that doesn't work with all monitors, as many can't use the signal the Switch outputs.

Essentially, if digital video over VGA isn't supported (it isn't standard, chances are it isn't), you won't be able to use it.
I was not mistaken, as far as my research has shown me.
There's no passive adapter that can convert digital to analog.
