So i tried to install CFW on my 3ds on 11.3..and soft bricked my system.

Thankfully, i was able to get my 3ds running again with the recovery method.
Sadly, it updated to 11.4, and some weird stuff has been happening to my 3ds.

When attempting to load my R4i sdhc rts lite card, i got the "A error occured. please reset the system" message. I was quite mad because i got my R4 only a couple of days earlier. Then i decided to try my Pokemon White 2 cart, and when i booted it, it had a black screen and nothing happened.
Then i loaded a different original ds cart, and it got the error.

Then i loaded my Pokemon Y cart in, and it worked perfectly fine.

Why is this happening? do any of you know why?

How did you brick your system in the first place? What guide from 3ds.guide did you not follow correctly to get the brick?
Because if you followed the guide carefully, you wouldn't get any kind of brick.
EDIT: What step* not what guide

This was the guide. When he said to turn off the 3ds after doing the browserhax, i thought he meant press the power button. but then he said press the a button. i tried to turn it back on, and it was soft bricked.

This is why you should only use http://3ds.guide
It's the safest, most up to date guide.

What is the actual issue you are having? Are you booting to black screens? Error screen?
Also never use video guides, those are always the fastest way to brick. Always use 3ds.guide

Here's the problem with video guides. If somebody as any understanding of the 3ds modding scene whatsoever, they know not to use video guides, so they're often made by people who barely know what they're doing.

On my R4, it boots into a error screen, On my pokemon w2 cart, it boots into a black screen, and on a another cart, it boots into a error screen.

my supercard ds two doesn't work (black screen with both forwarders and the cart itself) with 11.4 either (on cfw a9lh+luma), so I reverted back to 11.3 and everything works again. I'm sorry to hear about ur issues.

That is why you needed to follow 3ds.guidr and nit video tutorials that are outdated. Your first mistake is not following the guide

I fixed my issue by updating luma's hourly build. I thought I was on the latest. anyway, everything is fixed for me now.
