like i said in the title If you bought an asus mobo or gpu (or both) you can get UP TO 110 bucks back (depends on what you bought, check the website for details)

you can claim the money back starting tomorrow (9th april)
make sure you tell any friend or person that recently purchased hardware so he\she doesn't miss it.. the money can really help in buying for example an extra ram stick or something...

i am suspicious why asus is giving money back.. and wondering if they were forced to give the money back by some "behind the scenes" reason.. (remember when sony was forced to partially refund the ps3 buyers because they removed the other OS)

it's not april fools lol...
i checked the asus website when i got my mobo, march (almost 1 month ago) and this showed up, i was really surprised i just saved 50 bucks but for some shady reason you can only claim the money now

and keep in mind, asus is so shady in this promotion, you can only claim the money after 30 days of purchase... so, if you bought a recent mobo or gpu (depending on your country) check the website to make sure you are eligible

Just seems like a normal rebate process to me, albeit a fairly generous one. Still, rebates on hardware are pretty commonplace.

Also only seems to be open on certain products, and only in Europe.

I would assume that if there's a waiting period before you can claim your rebate, it's because they're trying to avoid getting scammed - say someone buys a mobo or GPU for the rebate, sends in whatever receipt or UPC they need to, and immediately try returning it to where they bought it. Waiting 14/30 days would at least put you outside of most stores' return periods.
